Aon Insurance Managers (AIM) in Bermuda is seeking to employ a Senior Account Executive to join a diverse team of professionals dedicated to providing the best service to their clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day administrative, regulatory reporting, and accounting functions of a portfolio of re/insurance entities.
This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Bermuda office

What the day will look like
Perform the accounting functions for a variety of capital market and commercial clients; working outside normal work hours as needed to meet reporting timelines.
Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with US GAAP or IFRS, and other insurance regulatory reporting requirements. Prepare periodic reports, working paper files and detailed analyses that accompany financial statements.
Day- to-day administrative and accounting functions for a portfolio of capital markets and commercial re/insurance clients.
Coordinate and supervise annual audit and regulatory reporting.
Organize client meetings; assist with the development and delivery of presentations of financial results at director and shareholder meetings.
Assist with maintaining existing client relationships and help build new ones. Participate in new business development and prospect meetings.
Collaborate as part of the Client Service team to customize additional or tailored services for clients.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
An accounting designation is essential (CA, CPA, ACA, ACCA).
Recent and relevant re/insurance management experience in Bermuda or other prominent captive domicile (through Big 4 public accounting firms or other captive management companies) is highly desirable
Strong familiarity with US GAAP or IFRS , as well as the insurance regulatory environment/requirements in Bermuda.
Familiarity with ILS, commercial, and alternative insurance products would be advantageous.
Familiarity with US and local tax issues/implications.
Familiarity with insurance-based SICs and Microsoft D365 would be advantageous.
