Your Responsibilities

• Make our Application Security program "cloud-ready" by evolving existing services and processes to support a hybrid ecosystem of cloud and on-premise architectures, self-developed DevOps-powered applications, and COTS/SaaS solutions.

• Promote a "secure by default" mindset across Kuehne+Nagel’s IT and business units.

• Partner with product teams throughout their development lifecycle by offering hands-on consulting, tools, best practices, and guidelines—balancing pragmatism with effectiveness.

• Represent Application Security towards management and key stakeholders, ensuring effective communication regarding processes, risks, and controls.

• Advocate secure design principles and implement security best practices across the organization.

• Take ownership of the Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) policy and related guidelines, ensuring your team delivers scalable global services and automated enforcement mechanisms.

Your Skills and Experiences

• You have successfully completed a degree in ComputerScience or possess a comparable professional qualification with atechnical background.

• Proven experience in the security field, with ahands-on approach—not just as a people manager.

• Comfortable navigating large, complex IT landscapeswith multiple years of enterprise-level experience.

• Thrives in international and cross-functional teamsettings.

• Strong methodical, procedural, and empathetic skillswith demonstrated team leadership experience.

• Ideally, experience establishing or managing anApplication Security program.
