Kuehne+Nagel Air Logistics Perishable Customer Care Specialist in Halifax, Nova Scotia

Your Role

Your ability to help customers navigate their way through this global organization means taking a holistic approach to your customers and efficiently transitioning that information and insight to your counterparts for flawless execution.
Your Responsibilities
Manage all daily airfreight export (dry and perishable) bookings
Act as primary resource for branch support in Halifax Perishable Office
Assist with quotes for our sales team as required
Prepare shipping documents
Provide advice to clients on high profile shipments and their requirements
Negotiate with carriers & other subcontractors for services and preferential rates
Trace lost or misdirected cargo shipments, process preliminary claims/claims

Your Skills and Experiences
3+ years experience in the Freight Forwarding business or associated industry
1+ years experience Operational, clerical, and/or administrative experience relative to freight traffic
Ability to maintain focus work on multiple projects and deadlines
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Proactive and customer focused, Export Customer Service experience is beneficial
