Responsibilities

As a Product Manager in Microsoft Fabric extensibility team, you will:

  • Define the product roadmap for areas you own to help meet the team’s objectives (OKRs).

  • Define and drive feature specifications and work closely with engineering teams to deliver against the roadmap you set.

  • Interface with customers and the community for feedback and usage information to develop product insights.

  • Capture market competitive and trend data to inform product direction.

  • Work closely with customers and partners to support the delivery of customer-facing documentation, blogs, videos, and representation in conferences. 

  • Become a subject matter expert in ownership and domain areas.

  • Collaborate closely with partner teams, engineering, UX and sales. 

  • Drive cross team collaboration with globally distributed teams.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of delivering successful products that customers love and adopt.

  • Outstanding communication skills and collaboration capabilities; the ability to communicate requirements crisply and prioritize effectively.

  • 3+ years of product experience with a proven track record of defining, managing, and delivering large scale solutions.  

  • 3+ years of software development experience including experience with the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.

  • Strong technical background, preferably in related domains such as databases, BI and AI; must have the ability to discuss technical concepts in detail.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills (written, oral, and interpersonal)

  • Experience working in cloud technologies and SaaS services.

  • The ability to understand the enterprise and ISV (Independent Software Vendors) markets, clarify customers’ needs and be a champion for our products and services.

  • The ability to create simple user experience for complex needs, define end-to-end user experience and understand what works and what doesn’t.

  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.

  • Advantage: Experience with Azure technologies.
