Maintenance Manager

Hagerstown, MD

FT Direct Hire position

$75k-$110k

Do you bring experience supporting a food processing or bakery environment? Do you have five or more years of related maintenance experience? The Maintenance Manager is a Hands-On Manager , leading a team of maintenance technicians and ensuring that all plant equipment, automated systems, machinery in general, and systems are operating efficiently to meet production needs and requirements. In this newly created role, you will:

  • Lead a team of 3-5 Maintenance Technicians

  • Work and troubleshoot Controls, PID, servo drives, PLC, HMI programming (Factory-talk, In- touch, etc.), SCADA (Wonder-ware), Indu-Soft., VMS, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Fanuc, ABB, etc.

  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies, schedules preventive maintenance activities, predictive maintenance activities, emergency repairs and scheduled repairs.

  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Safe Quality Foods (SQF) policies, maintain superior plant cleanliness.

Interested? Well qualified candidates will bring:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field of study

  • Five or more years of maintenance experience in a food processing or bakery environment

  • Experience with electrical wiring and controls; Fanuc and ABB robots; AutoCAD

  • Siemens: All PLC’s HMI; Allen Bradley

  • Project and Controls Engineering experience

This position comes with:
