Shift: This role is 1st Shift, 4: 30 AM-2:30 PM

Hourly Rate: $22.19 an hour

Conagra Brands in Hagerstown, proud makers of Gardein, is looking for a Forming & Frying Operator to join our 1st shift team. You will join a team of about 250 and will report to the Production Supervisor.

Schedule:

1st Shift | Monday - Friday | 4:30am - 2:30pm | You will need to be available for weekend work

Starting Pay:

$22.19/hour | Your wage will increase over time!

Essential duties:

You can perform all of the following job responsibilities:

• Must understand all GMP’s for producing quality product

• Can understand production schedule

• Must follow all OSHA and Plant safety rules

• Assist operators with minor change-over aspects

• Will perform tasks as assigned by Supervisor or Team Leader

• Able to lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds

• Other tasks as assigned Level 2 must perform all above and below duties.

• Can assemble and operate high speed equipment, including Kitter, Mixer, Freezer, Former, and Fryer.

• Can assist the Operators in all responsibilities such as clearing jams, stacking off, climbing, machine faults, loading of materials, checking code dates.

• Responsible for recording of specific information in CDC

• Follow Quality Assurance standards and WinSPC - computerized weight control

• Responsible for minor repairs and adjustments of each machine center line

• Responsible for staging changeover parts before changeover and returning changeover parts to changeover parts cart

Experience:

• Any previous manufacturing experience

• Complete basic match computation

• Understanding of weights and measurements

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
