Ford Motor Company IT Product Anchor – Supply Chain Management Strategy in Hagatna, Guam
Looking for a Product Anchor be part of Supply Chain Management IT Strategy and Advanced Tech Integration team. This individual will identify and implement IT solutions that would digitize and automate said business processes to bring enhanced transparency and visibility to Ford’s extended, multi-tiers supply chain, and enable Ford to verify actual (in-production) supplier capacity in a real-time, continuous manner. Ensure constraints and risks are detected and mitigated to ensure minimal production disruption.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with multiple organizations (Business, Product Managers, Product Owners, Data Tech, IT) to understand complex data exchange processes with suppliers for capacity planning and execution. Participate in and/or lead development of requirements, features, use cases, and test scenarios, in alignment with different stakeholders. Author process and design documents.
Implementation and Delivery: Working closely with vendors and partners, design and create actionable software development and enterprise integration activities to move from solution design to implementation. Work with the Business Customers, Product Managers, Product Designers, Enterprise Architects, Software Engineers and Security Controls Champions on solution design, development, integration, testing and deployment. Generate Metrics, Build Deployment Pipelines and Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Participate and/or lead incident, change and service request related activities including root cause analysis (RCA) and proactive problem management / defect prevention activities.
Communication: Clearly communicate vision and strategy to cross functional teams, senior leaders, and stakeholders to gain alignment. Grow subject matter expertise, provide guidance to other team members.
Live and breathe Agile: Participate in ceremonies that help define the work to be done, improve team process, and align the team to specific objectives. For instance, participate in Daily Standups, Story Creation and Backlog Grooming, Retrospectives, and Epics/Sub-Epics/Story Acceptance sessions. Ensure effective usage of Rally/Jira and derive meaningful insights from Rally/Jira like Velocity, Throughput etc. to enable the team to go further. Partner with Product Owners / Managers and develop and as required execute test scenarios at various levels (functional, user acceptance) within Agile Framework.

Required Skills/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, Business, or equivalent
5+ year experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools and pipelines, such as: (Jenkins, Terraform, SonarQube, Gradle, GitHub).
5+ year experience modern databases (Relational and non-relational) SQL Server, Teradata, etc.
5+ year with full stack development using Java (Spring Boot), Python, and web application development frameworks such as but not limited to JavaScript, REACT, Angular, Karma, Node.js, etc.
Ability to synthesize and visualize complex, and occasionally ambiguous concepts and translate them into a list of use-cases or an action plan for the team or organization. Ability to lead through influence.
5+ experience in cloud based development and operations (Azure/AWS/GCP/PCF).
Experience working with Agile project management software such Jira or Rally
Strong global business acumen in Purchasing, Manufacturing, Planning, Logistics, Service, etc.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally, building trust and driving success across skill teams (business and product) and leadership levels
Experience working with external partners, including industry experts & consortiums, for development and complex integration of industry standards and multi-party solutions. Experience in benchmarking.
Proactive attitude and not afraid to ask question and ability to operate with an Agile mentality in an ambiguous environment. Good organizational and time management skills.
Willing to work on a highly collaborative team fulfilling different roles and fill gaps
Nice-to-Have Skills/Experience:
Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT or Business Administration
Proven ability to learn and become productive in new concepts quickly
Behavioral Leadership (ability to handle uncertain situations and build relationships)
Experience leading agile software development practices to solution delivery
High degree of initiative, self-motivation, and ability to work autonomously
Ability to work with multi-functional teams for deliverables and timing
Curiosity towards new technologies that may benefit the team and a strong desire to learn
Experience with Design Thinking tools such as Figma, InVision, Miro, Balsamiq, etc.
