About this role

Under the supervision of Construction & Installation Head, the incumbent of the position is to:

  • Coordinate with site supervisors and adjusters working on projects.

  • Ensure that the installation projects of elevators and escalators meet the company quality standard, achieve the project's profitability target and satisfy clients' needs.

What you will be doing

  • Prepare and review the loading forecast, completion schedule, Manpower rolling plan.

  • Attend tender meetings, review tender documents, prepare R&Q, Scope of work.

  • Review contract documents and assign engineer for kick off meeting.

  • Implement standard customer communication.

  • Review and submit completion schedule to customers.

  • Give the support to the government tester and internal QC staffs.

  • Ensure the safety work environments.

  • Solve defect/ outstanding list.

  • Handover to the client.

  • Regularly reporting project status and highlight potential problems.

  • Participating the site activities such as site coordination with subcontractors, builders, and consultant.

  • Ensures that the projects are implemented effectively to achieve the profitability target and/or not to exceed the cost limit.

  • Coordinate teams of Installation Supervisors and Fitters, and subcontracted staff.

  • Coordinate and communicate with the Technical Specialist and NE-Sales on installation issues. Is in charge to resolve technical issues.

  • Implement installation methods.

  • Supervise the execution of works, materials, assemblies, and documentation.

  • Directly supervision routine works of Site Supervisor.

  • Ensure safety guidelines are communicated to, and followed by, staff and sub-contractors.

  • Monitor safe working practices, conduct Fatality Prevention Audit for the project, take corrective actions for finding issues and follow up till all closed .

  • Implement Go/No-Go process. Enforce WWJSSS and Cardinale Rules on the jobsite .

  • Advise NE FOD & EHS team to issue citations to any individuals violated company safety policies and procedures (Safety Cardinal Rule). Updates EH&S policies & standards and local regulations regularly to keep the data with the latest version.

  • Monitor in-progressing installation, inspection, final check to ensure the lift installation quality in line with company requirement.

  • Collect and analyze inspection checklist (plumbing lines, guard rails, roping, machine room, car completion inspection, before T&C inspection, before handover inspection checklist.

  • Stop and advise subcon to conduct corrective action of findings/ comments for quality installation before let them Go/No-Go ahead.

What you will need to be successful

  • University degree in Technical, Engineering, Automation graduate and has experience in the fields of elevator for at least 8 to 10 years of experience.

  • Having a positive, customer service & growth mindset.

  • Good ability to communicate, motivate, and discipline the workforce.

  • Good ability to understand drawings and other contract documents.

  • A good understanding of safety procedures.

  • Good project management & organizational skills.

  • Having a good customer service mindset to bring an excellent Otis customer service to customers.

  • English communication in 4 skills.

  • Proficient in MS office skills.

  • Project Management skills.

  • Can communicate English well and apply MS Offices.
