Job overview and responsibilities:

Recognized expert in the enterprise architecture discipline. Define roadmaps to bridge the gap from the current to future state for business, information, and technology capabilities. Provide industry-leading thought leadership and facilitate the development of strategies across multiple disciplines/domains. Facilitate the development of architecture patterns and standards. Consult on the design of complex enterprise initiatives and provide guidance to project teams. Manage enterprise architecture models and repositories. Communicate and market the enterprise architecture strategy and ensure the successful delivery of each solution.

  • Architecting and delivering highly-scalable and flexible, cost-effective enterprise solutions

  • Strong AWS experience across various services – Compute, Databases, and Sreaming Services

  • Work closely with the principal architects to deliver the needed architectures

  • Anticipate future technology requirements and communicate those to the leadership and multi-functional teams.

  • Understand the current state of the organization-wide architecture. Identify key business drivers and technology capabilities required to achieve optimal state.

  • Coordinate with collaborator teams and own the conversation to define use cases, goals, objectives, and architecture to support the business needs.

  • Build relationships with senior leadership. Engage and evangelize recommendations to senior leadership teams.

This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded. This position is for United Airlines Business Services Pvt. Ltd - a wholly owned subsidiary of United Airlines Inc.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology and/or equivalent work experience

  • B. Tech. or Above

  • 8 + years of experience in design, development, document, test, and debug of new and existing software systems and/or applications for market sale or large-scale proprietary software for internal us

  • Minimum 10 years of experience with Software Development Languages & Tools zTPF, TPFDF, TPF-C++, .NET (C#)

  • Worked closely with the architect for development of applications

  • Be adept at juggling several projects and initiatives simultaneously through appropriate prioritization

  • Strong PSS system knowledge

  • zTPF, TPFDF, TPF-C++, .NET framework (e.g. C#)

  • Must be legally authorized to work in [INSERT COUNTRY] for any employer without sponsorship

  • Must be fluent in English and [INSERT COUNTRY LANGUAGE] (written and spoken)

  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification

  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
