Your new role – challenging and future-oriented

We are looking for Buyer for procurement of ACC, BOP, Auxiliaries and Accessories in Cement, Oil and Gas, Fertilizer, Chemical and Process Industries

Role description:

• Preparation of BOM/BOQ and RFQ for Equipments/Items-ACC, Dampers, Deaerator, Valves, Piping and other material for WHRS projects.

• Review of offers from various sub-contractors, Techno-commercial comparison statement preparation. Selection of competent vendors.

• Preparation of fabrication and delivery schedule and monitoring.

• Coordination with internal and SCM Team for manufacturing and delivery.

• Arrange approvals of documents from customer and consultants.

• On Time execution

• Risk management including identification and monitoring.

• Responsible for purchasing of equipments, supplies or equipment. Key focus on -procurement, supplier relationships, delivery on time.

• Establish and sustain cost-effective inventory management systems

• Locate and select through formal process vendors of materials, equipment or supplies.

• Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment.

• Control purchasing department budgets.

• Establish rate contracts as applicable.

• Generate and submit adequate MIS reports for entire Materials function.

• Qualification: BE Mechanical

• Having 10-12 Year of experience in procurement of equipments for WHR and Power plant commodities.

• Direct interaction and coordination with all related sub vendors

• Familiarity with IBR/ASME/IS Codes. Must good knowledge of ASME Code for Materials like Steels (Carbon steel, Alloy steel, Stainless steel) & many other materials used in steel factories.

• Experience with software programs such as Excel, AutoCAD

• Experience with reviewing design drawings to perform steel takeoffs.

• SAP experience

• Strategic thinking, data analytics, commodity mapping & its technical evaluation and experience in supplier development.

• Good commercial awareness (commercial terms).

• Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.

• Established project management skills.

• Good communication skills

• Excellent negotiation skills

• Excellent people management skills
