The team you will be a part of:

The Procurement team identifies researches and evaluates suppliers that meet the organization's standards of price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply. Recognizes and evaluate sales, promotional campaigns, and other opportunities to secure reduced prices. Assesses supplier's products to ensure that they comply with specifications and meet the organization's quality standards.

This role in summary:

This role is to be part of the International procurement office, which has the main responsibility of being the extended arm of the Commodity team sitting across Whirlpool in various regions like North America, Brazil & Argentina. The prime responsibilities will include end to end execution of Supply Base projects out of Asia (China, India, Southeast Asian countries) and managing supply base & Ensuring support to the region from these Asia supply bases.

Your responsibilities will include:

• This role is primarily responsible for encouraging sourcing from Indiansuppliers, China and South East Asian for different regions globally.

• This role serves as the intermediary between the Indian, Chinese and Southeast Asian suppliers and global / regional commodity managers.

• This role works towards development of the suppliers to ensure adherence to quality standards and timely delivery of products.

• Drive relationships within Whirlpool global for promoting India sourcing capabilities:

• Responsible for encouraging commodity sourcing for Whirlpool factoriesglobally by Indian suppliers

• Identify India sourcing opportunities through regional meets and seminars

• Explore new Supply base by organizing events and participating in forums,fairs etc.

• Partner and engage with regional commodity teams in understanding their requirements

• Support the RFP process across regions for potential commodity suppliers

• Provide ongoing support (for eg: business processes, systems improvementetc.) for effective delivery and sustained relationships Flawless Project Management and Execution Develop risk mitigation plan in terms of contingencies - financial and operational risks

• Candidate needs to be multitasking and agile.

Minimum requirements:

• B.Tech-Mech or any other branch equivalent

• 5+ Years of Experience

• Looking for a candidate with background from Home appliance/consumer goods/ Automotive Industry / Injection Molding

Preferred skills and experiences:

• Experienced in interdisciplinary and global matrix environment

• Ability to amalgamate, on priority, business processes and procedures

• Good analytical & logical reasoning qualities

• Proven team player

• Must be able to prioritize work & deliver on targets
