Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Agile development team to understand project requirements and user stories

  • Design, develop, and execute test cases to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications

  • Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to identify defects and areas for improvement

  • Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings to provide input on quality-related matters

  • Document and track software defects, issues, and enhancement requests using appropriate tools

  • Conduct root cause analysis and work closely with developers to resolve defects and improve software quality

  • Continuously monitor and report on the status of software quality, providing metrics and reports to stakeholders as necessary

  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging testing methodologies to enhance the overall quality assurance process

  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field

  • 2 - 4 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in an Agile development environment

  • Knowledge of defect tracking tools, such as JIRA or Bugzilla

  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban

  • Proficient in testing techniques, test case development, and test management tools

  • Proven excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and communicate potential risks and issues

  • Proven solid communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

  • Proven to be self-motivated and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualification:

  • Experience with automated Selenium testing tools and frameworks
