This job is based out of Gurgaon.

• In this exciting role as Area Sales Professional- Infrastructure Vertical under SI Sales you will be responsible for driving sales of Energy

Automation portfolio comprising on Medium Voltage Products, Systems and Solution, Protection Devices & Automation solutions i.e

CRP/SAS/SCADA/ DMS, Grid Software, MDM Systems , EV Charging Systems and E-MAAS and after Sales Services .

• You will be primarily focusing on developing business with direct customers & channels for Infrastructure Vertical defined/ allocated by the

Manager.

• Understanding customer requirements and working to find solutions for the same. Develop strategy and implement to acquire business

from retention & conversion accounts. Actively manage the sales process through lead generation, opportunity development phases ,

ensure timely proposals, conduct techno-commercial negotiations, practice value selling, follow up & acquire orders for ensuring the linear

order inflow and subsequent booking in the system.

• Active Sales Planning . Estimating customer wise potential-budget, categorize Customers based on their potential & the market share,

recommending the actions for major retention/conversion customers, review actual Vs target , suggesting proactive actions and business

models in order to achieve goal.

• Mapping the unexplored markets, developing new customer, new applications, promoting new products/solutions through product

presentations & promotional events to customers, initiating product approvals, generating testimonials & conducting sales promotion for

enhancing the market reach and hence achieving business growth.

• The role requires good understanding of MV Products, Systems and Automation solutions . Understanding the product specifications,

selection of right product for offering, complying to proposal making processes and attending technical commercial discussion with

customers and consultants and employers.

• You’ll continuously capture Market intelligence (Updates on Projects/ Market/ Competitor information, order won/ loss analysis etc.) by

interacting with various agencies viz. Siemens entities India, Customers.

• Coordinate with the pre and post warrantee service, addressing the customer concerns & queries; ascertaining timely response as well as

communication in order to facilitate resolution; interfacing with the customers for feedback in order to establish long term customer

relations and thus ensuring high NPS.

• Adherence to sales processes and guidelines, acquiring vital approvals & documentation.

• You are expected to work independently & self manage ; however, you will be part of a particularly enthusiastic, successful and expanding

team. Support is also available from the direct Manager & Leadership Team for complex large pitches and strategies.

• Managing and maintaining a pipeline in CRM tool and keeping updated status for all open opportunities accurately at all times

REQUIREMENTS

• B.E/ B.Tech Electrical / Electronics Engineer with 7-0 years of sales experience in relevant Industry and Vertical

• Knowledge of Power Distribution products & Automation System for urban infrastructure projects for Cities , Institutional & Industrial Campuses

• Good understanding of Business processes and demonstrable full knowledge of the Sales processes.

• Good networking skills, strong client management skills with capability to develop & maintain positive relationship with key decision

makers & influencers in the industry.

• Strong communication skills in all forms including written, oral, email, telephone and presentation.

• A positive attitude to dealing with people. Leadership skills demonstrating ownership , collaboration and growth mindset

• You will be expected to spend 60-80% of your time with the customers.

• Ability to generate ideas & Solutions, Inspiration to your colleagues, tenacious, driven and highly motivated sales professional with

enthusiasm for growth.

• Confident negotiator and ability to ‘close the deal’.

• Ability to cope with competing demands, prioritise tasks and time management skills
