As a hands-on manager of a development team, you will share ownership of these goals and be expected to interact with operational and client facing teams. In this role you will be providing technical literacy, analytical assessment, team leadership, communication and problem-solving abilities to develop solutions that enhance our capabilities.

Responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with traders, market structure, and research to improve analysis capabilities by coming up with creative ideas and discussing new feature requests, issues and resolution etc.

• All aspects of software development, testing and ensuring compatibility with enterprise and solutions architecture by harnessing modern development technologies.

• Participates in the design and development of innovative solutions to complex problems, identifying issues and roadblocks around support, testing and development effort

• Understanding financial instruments, concepts, and trading workflows in order to implement related analytics.

• Provide support for our transaction cost platform and resolve issues that arise.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years Java Developer with significant experience delivering high-quality large-scale systems meeting client requirements

• Experience as a lead for other developers

• B.S. / M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline

• Strong computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, programming languages, distributed systems & information retrieval

• Proficiency with object-oriented and/or functional programming languages such as Java (must have)/Python (nice to have)

• Basic understanding of UI frameworks like Angular/React (nice to have).

• Strong knowledge in Linux/Unix, and database technologies

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Basic understanding of financial markets in any of Fixed Income, FX, Equities, Futures
