The role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic AWS Business Development Manager to drive the growth and adoption of AWS services in the Delhi region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing, with a particular focus on AWS solutions. You will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities, as well as managing existing customer relationships to ensure long-term success.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Development: Identify and target new business opportunities in the Delhi region by understanding customer needs and promoting the value of AWS solutions. Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business growth objectives and meet or exceed sales targets. Client Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with key decision-makers at prospective and existing clients. Serve as a trusted advisor on AWS solutions and cloud adoption strategies. Solution Selling: Collaborate with technical teams to design and present customized AWS solutions that meet specific customer requirements. Articulate the benefits and value of AWS services. Partnerships: Work closely with AWS and other key people from aws to create joint business plans and align on go-to-market strategies. Market Analysis: Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscapes, and new technologies. Provide insights and recommendations for business development initiatives. Proposal Development: Lead the preparation of proposals, presentations, and contracts. Negotiate terms and close deals in a timely and effective manner. Cross-functional Teamwork: Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, technical support, and product development, to ensure seamless service delivery and customer happiness. Performance Tracking: Supervise and report on sales performance, pipeline development, and market feedback. Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve outcomes. Qualifications:

What we need to see from you

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.

  • Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in business development or sales, with a focus on cloud computing and AWS solutions.

  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of AWS services, cloud computing concepts, and the IT infrastructure landscape. AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner) are useful.

  • Sales Skills: Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a competitive market. Experience with solution selling and managing complex sales cycles.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Relationship Building: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers, partners, and internal team members.

  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address customer challenges effectively.
