The Team:

Platforms include post-trade securities, corporate actions processing and Proxy solutions providing single platform trade flow management and custody and investment accounting solution across business lines and geographies. Also, providing end-to-end automation of corporate actions and income processing, from announcement capture and validation, to complete downstream processing. Other supporting solutions include web-based self-service platform that enables front-office, middle-office and end-customer users to seamlessly interact with their post-trade environment.

A self-service business analytics application sitting on top of these, that enables operations to seamlessly interact with data.

Managed Corporate Actions (MCA) service is a best-in-class centralized source of validated corporate action announcements. Managed Corporate Actions provides a centralized source of validated corporate action data for nearly three million equities, fixed income and structured securities, across more than 170 countries and territories. As financial firms face a deluge of raw information on corporate actions, the risks and costs associated with acquiring and managing this data is higher than ever. An investment decision based on poor data quality, in terms of both accuracy and timeliness, can have enormous ramifications, with potential exposure running into the millions of dollars.

As an international team of industry experts we architect and deliver intelligent post-trade software applications to the capital markets globally. We do this by seamlessly managing the huge volume and complex processing of core post-trade services. These include asset servicing, securities and cash processing, and post trade analytics.

The Impact

The Director, Product Management will work with various stakeholders involved in the project, closely collaborating with senior internal and client stake holders and acting as the primary point of contact for clients, development, design and quality teams to deliver quality product.

The Director, Product Management should be able to understand strategic client initiatives and work in close co-ordination with both internal and client stake holders to finalize business cases. The role also involves identification of new revenue opportunities and leading these up to conclusion. The role requires excellent management, written, and verbal communication skills, strong organizational and coordination abilities, and analytical expertise. The successful candidate should be process-oriented and have a thorough understanding of the product development lifecycle. They should thrive in a fast-paced environment and be flexible to adapt to changes, leading multiple projects and initiatives.

The Director, Product Management should lead to understand the existing business processes of clients and how the target state operational process is configured onto the platform. They should be able to envisage solutions across software products, operations and processes to come up with optimal solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Understands the underlying business, implementation & product usage of assigned client/s.

  • Lead product consultancy/ SME and assist the client to support throughout the project lifecycle as well as post go live for a better client experience.

  • Work with the client to define the most optimal future state operational process and related product configuration.

  • Ability to build & maintain strong relationships with all internal & external client stakeholders.

  • Work closely with product & engineering teams and lead the team of business analysts to analyze and design functional enhancements.

  • Well versed with product management aspects to define and decide the roadmap catering to client demand and commercial strategy.

  • Delivery focused with good time management and personal organizational skills.

  • Open to travel: Be willing to travel for work as needed multiple times in a year as per requirement.

  • Be able to identify opportunities for expanding the business.

What We’re Looking For:

Education and Experience

  • Postgraduate/ Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology.

  • 18+ years of relevant professional experience.

  • Prior experience in Capital Markets, Post Trade automation, Corporate Actions is a must.

Skills

  • Ability to work independently and within a team, demonstrating proactive leadership in multiple streams.

  • Understanding of the Agile software development process and overall project lifecycle.

  • Enthusiasm for Agile processes and new technologies.

  • Experience in issue troubleshooting.

  • Experience in customer-facing roles and change management processes is preferred.
