Johnson Controls Assistant Manager-National Collection BSNA in Gurgaon, India
Job Description:
Ø Responsible for collection activities related to a broad cross section of Johnson Controls customer portfolios
Ø Analyze accounts and set targets - Collection plan / strategy at the beginning of month
Ø Responsible for performing collection activities on active customers in allocated portfolio to drive past due, dispute and unapplied cash reduction.
Ø Manage Collection processes, provide early stage customer service and, where necessary, raise cases involving customer complaints
Ø Co-ordination with customers and cash application team for remittance advise.
Ø Support other finance operations by providing and receiving information from customers regarding invoicing, collection and cash application .
Ø Account reconciliation - follow up with sales team and review open points and request customer master team to update system.
Ø Manage and request/enter Adjustments, Promise to Pay/ Deductions / Payment Plans / Write Off’s
Ø Advise on issuing Dunning Letters and/or Legal Proceedings for uncollected receivables.
Ø Maintain call logs and expected payment dates using your daily interactions with customers to encourage timely payment, as well as proactive contact on non-due invoices.
Ø Analyze aging debt reports and initiate calls to, as well as receive calls from customers
Requirement and Qualifications:
Graduate / Postgraduate / Master’s Degree in any stream
Proficient in both verbal and written business communications
5 - 7 Years of experience required in North America Collections process .
Systems knowledge in ERPs ( BaaN , Great Plains & SAP) .
Proficiency in MS Excel and Collections Tools like GetPaid , Contact Tool, High Radius will be preferred .
Excellent customer service, business communication, and follow-up skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment while meeting deadlines
