Gunnison Valley Police Department Police Officer in GUNNISON, Utah
The Police Officer is responsible for all general police functions. These functions include, but are not limited to, the following: patrolling the cities of Gunnison and Centerfield to interdict criminal activity, render aid, arrest or cite when appropriate, and protect and promote public peace. The Police Oicer will be the initial investigator for allegations of criminal activity and will be responsible for the preliminary investigation of an incident. The Police Oicer is generally the first responder at any public safety incident and as such should be well trained, competent, and professional in the performance of their duties. The Police Oicer will be expected to provide a courteous, professional, and competent service to citizens and the communities of Gunnison and Centerfield.
