Dufrene Building Materials CDL Driver in Gulfport, Mississippi
Duties/ Responsiblitites: Plans and completes an efficient delivery and pick up route for the day. Loads delivery vehicle with parcels scheduled for delivery. Delivers parcels to correct addresses, obtaining signatures and proof of receipt whe necessary. Picks up parcels along the scheduled route, including items to be returned, company orders, and other items as requested. Maintains bais records of truck mileage and deliveries made. Ensures that deliver vehicle receives basic service according to maintenance scheule; reports larger service needs and mechanical issues to supervisor. Assists in gneral warehouse dutes when delivery route is completed. Perofrms other related dutes as assigned.
Required Skills/ Abilites: Must maintain an actice CDL License and Medical Card. Ability to drive safely. Ability to use navigation tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, and/ or web-based or physical maps. Ability to plan delivery routes. Ability to maintain basic logs and records. Ability to carry out a series of instruions without constant supervison. Able to remain professional and coureous at all times.
Education and Experience: -Valid CDL Driver's License, current medical card and clean driving record.
Physical Requirements: -Must be able to lift up to 50lbs regulary. -Must be able to load and unload packages with and without dollies in various types of weather.
