Quality Control Tester
Shift: 7:30am - 4:00pm, Monday- Friday

We are looking to add a Quality Control Tester to our team in Guilderland Center, NY! The Quality Control Tester role is responsible for testing the quality and efficacy of electrical safety gloves. To ensure success as a Quality Control Tester, you should exhibit strong attention to detail, have the ability to stand for long hours, follow standard processes, and be comfortable with manual labor in a light industrial environment. On the job training will be provided.
Responsibilities Include:
Visually inspect rubber gloves and sleeves for visual defects.
Follow safety guidelines and procedures when operating equipment and handling products.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate effective productivity.
Conduct standard cleaning and basic maintenance on all testing equipment and test area on a regular basis.
Measuring product to test for compliance.
Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding testing status, findings, etc.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and compliance regulations.
Assist other lab technician(s) with electrical testing of goods to step in as backup as needed.
Schedule and monitor workload based off priority with minimal assistance.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Basic Microsoft Excel experience is preferred.
Previous work experience in quality control or quality assurance preferred.
Ability and willingness to follow standard process as directed by leader.
Ability to stand for long periods.
Basic computer knowledge is required.
Ability to read and write in English.
Ability to work Independently with little supervision.
Ability to lift and lower up to 40lbs.
Other duties as assigned.
