Honeywell DTO Sr Project Manager Specialist in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico
The DTO Sr Project Manager Specialist is a strategic role within the Delivery Transformation office of the Business Aviation (BA) Strategic Business Group that enhances global project delivery by integrating cutting-edge strategies and ensuring alignment across all organizational level. An extension of the DTO Lead, the Sr Project Manager Specialist facilitates the Project Initiation in the early stages of project management, ensuring that all project requirements, goals, and resources are identified, defined, and set in place for a successful execution. This position is in our Guaynabo, Puerto Rico location.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Scoping and Definition:
Understand project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
Understand including timelines, budgets, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Identify project stakeholders and define roles and responsibilities
Engage the Project Schedule to start the project schedule, ensuring all required resources, timelines, and deliverables are clearly outlined
Coordinate the creation of risk management strategies, identifying potential risks and request to the PM developing mitigation plans
Identify project governance structure, including communication to decision-making processes
Ensuring that all team members there are aligned with project goals
Confirm Financial data in PPM GDM is same/like ERR
Communicate project status to key stakeholders, ensuring alignment and managing expectations
Facilitate kick-off meeting to ensure all stakeholders are aligned on project scope, deliverables, and timelines
Ensure all project documentation is up posted in PPM
Billing initiation plan in PPM
Travel, up to 30%, may be required.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S.
YOU MUST HAVE:
3+ years of experience in project management or a similar role, with a focus on project initiation and planning
3+ years of experience with project management methodologies
3+ years of experience with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Jira, Trello)
Ability to speak, read and write English
