Job Summary:

As the Benefits Manager, you will be responsible for partnering with key leaders across the business and outside advisors as needed to provide competitive benefits in order to support the business. This position will be responsible for executing the overall benefits strategy by researching, designing and managing effective, cost efficient benefits for the respective country(s) of oversight. This includes health and welfare, retirement, and/or any country-specific benefit programs for the company. You will be a key member of the Global Total Rewards team delivering a great associate experience. You will liaison and build relationships with the outside advisors, business leaders/associates, the global payroll, legal, finance and the broader Total Rewards and HR team.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

  • Benchmarks, evaluates and recommends associate benefits, including health, life, and disability insurance, retirement plans, leave policies, and wellbeing programs with the goal of creating an attractive and competitive benefit program. Participates in special projects as needed including but not limited to M&A due diligence and integration, DEI initiatives, etc.

  • Manages the timely annual renewal process for all benefit plan policies and/or contracts by partnering with outside advisors, legal and VP Total Rewards; coordinates any communication or involvement by other 3rd parties such as Workers Councils or Union Leaders to ensure compliance where necessary; Leads any RFP processes to market our business and when making a provider change, oversees the implementation of new provider.

  • Develop and deliver strong benefit communications that help educate associates and support the associate value proposition including but not limited to enrollment guides, product specific brochures/flyers and on-demand videos. Develop and/or deliver training sessions, benefit info sessions, Lunch & Learns or any material that can support or enhance the associate experience.

  • As the subject matter expert, provides guidance for escalated questions or issue resolution for the day to day administration of benefits including insurance, retirement plan, and leave administration.

  • Monitors regulatory/government regulations, provides updates or findings reports to VP Total Rewards and oversees plan document updates and administration to ensure compliance with all regulatory matters.

Skills, Education and Experience (Required to Perform Essential Functions):

  • Skills (including soft and technical skills)

  • This position requires a minimum of 5 years of related benefits experience

  • Working knowledge of retirement plans and health and welfare plans, leaves of absence and their compliance, and administration required.

  • Bilingual Spanish/English

Education (minimum education required):

Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent

Experience (minimum experience required):

6 to 8 years

Travel Requirements:

0-25% Travel Domestic and/or International
