Job Description

• The Student worker will be engaged in various aspects of System validation- Pre and Post-silicon validation, End to end use-case validation, platform enabling and debug, Security, etc. for server NEX products.

• Develops, modifies, and executes test plans.

• Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures.

• Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software/HW/Platform features.

• Analyzes test results to ensure correct functionality, determine root causes of failures and recommends corrective action.

• Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems.

• Debugs products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications,

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position:

• Bachelor or Master student in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related fields (remaining at least 1 year as an active student).

• 3+ months of experience SW or Embedded HW focus on Computer Science/Embedded Engineering.

• 3+ months of experience working with SW/HW design for ease of validation, root-cause of design/software bugs.

• 6+ months of experience programming in C/C++/Python/scripting languages.

• 3+ months of experience working with OS and kernel system.

• Intermediate English level.

Preferred qualifications,

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates:

• Has college project experience working on Embedded design, Control systems, RTL debug (VHDL, System Verilog, etc.).

• Knowledge of SW/ HW debug tools, ideally Xilinx.

• Understanding complex software for new technologies for accelerators related to ML/CV/AI will be an advantage.

• Experience in Security analysis, threat modeling and security development lifecycle.

• GitHub knowledge/experience.

Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
