Description
State-of-the-Art Aerospace Part Manufacturing Facility
$18/hr Base pay
Responsibilities:
Ensure that all relevant internal and external documentation utilized for inspection purposes is current.
Accurately record inspection activities, as required, utilizing the Company’s ERP system.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and assembly prints.
Perform inspection by utilizing handheld gages including calipers, micrometers, and scales.
Perform final check to ensure all assemblies and detail parts are free of Foreign Object Debris (FOD) and non-conformance issues.
Accurately populate quality assurance documentation using industry terms and definitions.
Assist in Return Material Authorization (RMA) and Material Rejection Report (MRR) processes using Syteline to ensure timely resolution.
Perform PCD Audits, document results and communicate findings.
Participate in 3rd Party audits as necessary.
Qualifications
Skills
Required
Handheld Inspection Tools: Some Knowledge
Read, Interpret and understand blue prints: Some Knowledge
Understand and can use calipers: Intermediate
Understand and can use ID and OD micrometers: Intermediate
Experience
Required
2 years: Basic computer skills (e.g., MS Office, ERP) strongly preferred.
1 year: Inspection of manufactured and fabricated precision machined parts to meet customer specifications by with handheld gages including calipers, micrometers, and scales.
