Clarke County Commission Revenue Clerk in Grove Hill, Alabama

Description: Under the supervision of the Chief Clerk, the employee provides customer service assistance as well as assistance with revenue and collections and other office operations. The employee collects taxes and maintains accurate records. The employee provides support in the appraisal and mapping processes as necessary. Must have two years experience in a similar office environment.

*Skills:* - Possession of a high school diploma or GED; completion of courses in data entry or business preferred. - One to two years experience in a similar office environment required. - One to two years of work experience in appraisal and mapping, preferred. - Possession of Notary Public status or the ability to attain within a designated period of time. - Bonded, or the ability to become bonded. - Any combination of education and experience that meets the requirements identified above will be considered.
