Our client, one of the largest freight carriers, is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to join their team!

Job Title: Shipping/Receiving Clerk

Location: Grove City, OH

Shift: 7:00am - 2:30pm

Pay Range: $16.00 per hour

What’s the Job?

• Assist with warehouse duties such as shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing the orders for processing.

• Use a pallet jack, hand truck, or dolly to move freight.

• Take check calls from drivers ensuring that loads will deliver on time.

• Assemble products and participate in inventory counts as needed.

• Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries verifying that loads have arrived on time and in good condition.

What’s Needed?

• Must be able to lift, push or pull at least 75 pounds

• Previous dock or warehouse experience in the transportation industry

• Experience with using handheld scanners

• Basic computer, written and verbal skills

• Ability to apply critical thinking to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal or diagram form
