job summary:

The Market Specialist is responsible for prepping and staging produce pallets for the market floor, organizing and managing the movement of inventory, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the produce cooler. This role ensures all produce is pulled, inspected for quality, and organized before being brought to the market floor. Additional responsibilities include conducting quality checks on food products, operating warehouse equipment such as manual or electric pallet jacks to retrieve pallets from freezer and cooler storage areas, and assisting and directing volunteers as needed. They will also participate in special projects and complete other duties as assigned. Strong customer service and communication skills are essential for success in this role, along with experience working in a food pantry, market, or grocery store. A general working knowledge of warehouse machinery and proficiency in Microsoft Office products is required.

location: Grove City, OH

salary: $19.38/hr

work hours: 12:00PM to 8:30PM

qualifications:

• up to 50 lbs. (heavy lifting)

• Successful performance on a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Test.

dress code:

Shirts or t-shirts must have sleeves and be without any holes or rips. Pants without any holes or rips. No profane or suggestive texts and images. Steel toed Boots.
