Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

Aerotek is seeking a General Production Worker in the Pawcatuck, CT area. Your daily responsibilities include stacking coils on skids coming off the packaging line, banding coils to skids and processing shipping tags, scanning and locating finished goods into staging locations, entering data in the system, and moving ready product into/out of trucks. You will start with training on the 1st shift, which lasts approximately 6 weeks with hours from 6 am-2 pm, before transitioning to the 2nd shift with hours from 1:30 pm-9:30 pm.

Hard Skills

• Ability to lift 50 lbs

• Mechanical aptitude

• Familiarity with computers

Soft Skills

• Willingness to train and cross-train

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 3 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Pawcatuck, Connecticut.

Work Environment

Initial training on 1st shift, transitioning to 2nd shift
