Eaton Corporation Commercial Finance Manager - Benelux Cluster in GrootBijgaarden, Belgium

For our Electrical Sector Country Sales Organizations in Benelux, we are looking for a Commercial Finance Manager.

This role operates as a Business Partner focused on driving profitable growth together with the Leadership team.

The role is reporting directly into our Finance Zone Leader and closely supports our Benelux Sales Team. It has under direct coordination a team of 2 colleagues.

This role stands as part of the Benelux Leadership team.

Being a senior finance partner in this Cluster, you'll develop strong relationships with your key senior stakeholders, making your team a trusted partner to the business and supporting them to drive the success of the business through the delivery of a high quality commercial finance offering.

You'll drive positive change and improvements ensuring a visible and regular presence, refining processes and schedules, introducing new ways of working and ultimately maximizing the "value added" by the team.

Main responsibilities are split between:

Business partnering:

  • Manage reporting and approval process for commercial project and monthly reports

  • Support with creation of business opportunities, utilizing business case to support Profit Plan and annual business targets

  • Foster and maintain effective cross-functional relationships between Finance, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and Customer Service

  • Conduct project pricing analysis, including profitability, benchmarking, cost savings, and competitive assessments

  • Perform Quarterly -annual analysis, comparing accounts' P&L against proposed pricing conditions and Market conditions to evaluate impact on profitability

  • Proactive commercial business relationship management and partnership

  • Build strong relationship with the members of the country leadership team

  • Co-pilot the country performance to profitable growth

  • Ensure real time support, financial guidance and improved insights into business performance and informed decision making

  • Provide decision support for commercial deals, pricing actions and investments opportunities

  • Build strong business and commercial acumen through direct relationships with the customers and business units

  • Assess and advice on appropriate actions to manage business and finance risk and communicate impact effectively

  • Lead or support the development of business cases

Analytics:

  • Provide insights into the business performance for the areas under responsibility and quality commentaries for monthly reporting requirements

  • Lead the business partnering support for the annual profit plans and monthly forecasting working together with the country leadership teams

  • Specific focus on margins and profitability analytics

Leadership and continuous improvement:

  • Proactively build a strong team to drive the value in the organization

  • Design and propose financial solutions to business challenges while maintaining governance and financial controls

  • Continuously improve tools to get better insights into the business

  • Prioritize demands, proactively manage expectations of the stakeholders

  • Lead projects, apply business acumen and commercial awareness to deliver business objectives

  • Coordinate the finance support to the country and zone leadership teams on ad-hoc projects and requests

  • Board member of the local company based on company request and needs

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

  • 7 to 10 years of FP&A or business partnering experience

  • Data-savvy, SAP knowledge with practical experience

  • Business partnering skills, influencing, learning agility, transparency and an ethical conduct

  • Dutch and English languages at fluent level are required
