We are looking for a new team member in Grenchen in the role as
Senior Process Engineer (m/w/d) 100%
Location : Grenchen (SO), Switzerland
Type of Contract : permanent employment
Startdate: in alignment with the candidate’s availability
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Continually strive to balance and optimize line throughput, including efforts to minimize changeover downtime (i.e. common set-ups)
Monitor machine management data to maximize utilization and minimize machine-generated scrap
Monitor the process running in production; troubleshoot problems associated with processes and assist in resolving quality issues
Establish and ensure process control and maintains appropriate documentation
Provide input on creative ways to reduce costs by streamlining processes and systems
Coordinate line reconfigurations and machine move activities, including equipment arrival, positioning and installation, and scheduling of support groups (Machine Support, Facilities, etc.) using the approved communication process
Establish processes for new product lines; document product development and changes; evaluate new product performance
Debug moderately complex problems within a portion of new systems, tooling and automation
Support production in a daily basis and participate actively to the main JOS meetings, as required
Encourage open communication and exchange of information within the department and between the various support groups
Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor
Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy
YOUR BACKGROUND
Completed degree in a relevant engineering or scientific field or equivalent advanced training
At least 2 years of experience in a similar field
Work experience in the pharmaceutical or medical field an advantage
Excellent communication and presentation skills as well as good problem-solving skills
Very good knowledge of German and English required
