We are seeking an experienced Facility Senior Electrical Engineer for our High Performance Facilities (HFP) business unit in our Greenwood Village, CO, San Antonio, TX, Merritt Island, FL, or Atlanta Area offices.

This position requires a competent professional engineer who will be responsible for all phases of engineering production and BIM for a variety of work ranging from programming through construction administration. This includes interpreting, organizing, executing and coordinating the design and production effort for one or more large or complex projects. Typical annual pay range for this position is $120,000.00 - $150,000.00. Pay offered may vary depending on job related knowledge, skills, and experience. Job Description Design of electrical systems for facilities for Government, Military, University, and private clients. Provide conceptual / detailed design and analysis for facility power distribution (600V), site power distribution (15kV), emergency power generation, grounding and lightning protection, lighting design, telecommunications (voice/data), fire alarm / mass notification, security, access control, and special systems. Provide supporting documentation such as calculations, reports, and specifications. This individual is expected to possess extensive knowledge on electrical regulatory codes. Meet with clients to prepare and/or validate proposed scope of work. Prepare fee proposals for engineering design work. Work with other disciplines to ensure accuracy of the package, meet schedule, and budget commitments and meet expectations for attendance and punctuality. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment Ability to complete tasks with accuracy and with strong attention to detail Ability to consistently meet deadlines, completing tasks as previously defined Ability to travel as needed. Ability to write and edit specifications Work in a design team environment, including directing and mentoring the work of junior engineers and designers, and delegating work as required as well as provide management of the local team. Manage direct reports of local and remote engineering staff and providing leadership. Providing annual performance reviews and merit increase for staff. Capable of performing all the above with minimal direction An agreed upon hybrid schedule, working from both home and office, is available to employees in good standing. Required Experience Twelve (12) years of experience in facility Electrical Engineering design. Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is required. Minimum twelve (12) years of experience using REVIT/AutoCAD or other design software-based drawing generation. Experience using electrical calculation tools is required, including lighting and power software such as AGi32, Elum Tools, SKM Power Tools, ETAP, and EasyPower. Proficient using Microsoft Office Excel & Word. Experience with technical codes such as NEC, NESC, NFPA, IEEE is required. Experience with Department of Defense and government clients is highly desired. Client projects for this position require U.S. Citizenship. Physical Requirements The job requires the ability to sit for extended periods at a computer workstation. Be able to work in an environment with open discussions and visitors without getting distracted. May be required to lift up to 20 lbs.
