We are currently looking for a team focused and dedicated Senior Civil Engineer in Greenwood Village, Colorado office. As a member of our team, you will actively be working with our network of civil engineers responsible for conventional design and design/build projects for water and wastewater clients. You’ll be challenged with leading and designing facilities such as water and wastewater pump stations, treatment facilities for water and wastewater plants and conveyance and storage systems. This role will require you to lead the development of project specific technical reports, calculations, construction drawings and technical specifications with the support of local and national experts.

We'll Expect You To:

  • Lead the civil discipline effort and tasks on projects

  • Design of site infrastructure for projects like Municipal water and wastewater treatment, Environmental water treatment (Industrial and Government), yard piping and conveyance utilizing 3D software

  • Produce detailed construction documents and technical specifications

  • Engineering calculations for pavement and drainage

  • Technical writing of reports for Basis of Design, Design Criteria, Drainage, and Grading Erosion and Sediment Control

  • Provide leadership and mentoring to junior engineers and CAD staff

  • Manage work to a scope, schedule, quality and budget

  • Effective communication between team members

The base salary range for this position is $125,100 to $195,450. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • BS Degree in Civil Engineering or other related engineering field

  • Minimum of 15 plus years engineering experience in site layout, grading and drainage design

  • PE License

Ideally, You'll Also Have:

  • 5 plus years of Microstation and Inroads/Openroads design experience. Civil 3D experience a plus

  • Familiar with drainage programs such as HY-8, Culvertmaster, Flowmaster, Inroads Storm and Sanitary, TR-55

  • Experience with Design-Build, CMAR/CM-GC and/or EPC projects

  • Adept at interpersonal relationship building, conflict resolution, and participating in diverse team

  • Construction support services for projects

  • Self-motivation, team-oriented work practices, and strong data analysis & technical problem-solving skills
