We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Building Mechanical Engineer in our Greenwood Village, Colorado office to support our water team.

As part of our team, you’ll have the chance to work on projects that bring innovative solutions to our municipal water and wastewater clients’ challenges locally and worldwide. You’ll be charged with designing HVAC and plumbing systems to meet the requirement to aid in the construction and operation of these facilities. You’ll also evaluate and select equipment, materials and valves, assist with facility layouts, develop calculations, airflow and control schematics, isometrics and construction documents. In addition, you’ll coordinate with other project disciplines, direct the work of CAD technicians, and produce construction documents. Using your leadership skills, you’ll be part of a team engaged in delivering some of the most exciting projects in the Western United States, and beyond.

The base salary range for this position is $86,000 to $134,350. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university or college

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in various aspects of HVAC and/or Plumbing Design

  • Holds an active professional engineering (PE) license

  • Experience and familiarity with International and Uniform Building Codes

  • Capable of working in a team environment, including giving and receiving critical feedback

  • Successful experience with working and managing remote domestic and international staff

  • Proficiency HVAC Calculation software (Carrier HAP 6.0 and newer, Trane 3D )

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Familiarity with Bluebeam

Ideally, You'll Also Have:

  • Experience in industrial, water, or wastewater mechanical engineering

  • Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software. (AFT Fathom, Pipe-Flo

  • A willingness to work in an office environment
