Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in the transport industry, located in Greenwood Village, Colorado. This role is integral to our rapidly expanding team and is focused on managing accounts payable functions, including matching and batch coding, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, and updating and reconciling sub-ledgers to G/L.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process and match customer credit applications

• Efficiently resolve any issues related to accounts payable (A/P)

• Handle expense report processing in a timely manner

• Manage and update sub-ledger to General Ledger (G/L) reconciliation

• Execute check processing tasks as needed

• Oversee customer accounts and take necessary actions based on monitoring results

• Perform lease accounting processes in compliance with established standards

• Ensure accurate and efficient invoice processing

• Maintain accurate customer credit records

• Report to the accounting manager and work towards career growth within the department. Requirements • Proven experience in an Accounts Payable Specialist role within the transport industry

• Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) processes and procedures

• Proficient in Lease Accounting

• Experience in Invoice Processing

• Ability to handle high volume invoice processing with accuracy

• Solid understanding of general accounting procedures

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred.
