Description

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage clients' day to day accounting functions including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.

• Execute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reports in the general ledger system.

• Prepare annual and quarterly financial statements and ad hoc financial reports.

• Ensure all financial operations comply with regulations and law.

• Monitor the daily performance of the accounting department.

• Conduct budget reviews and report cost plans to upper management.

• Analyze financial reports for discrepancies and other issues that should be brought to the CEO’s attention.

• Assist external auditors and implement recommendations for improving processes.

• Manage and supervise accounting department staff.

  Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required. Master’s degree is preferred.

• Current Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a public accounting or corporate accounting role.

• Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office and enterprise accounting software and platforms.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Highly organized and able to manage time effectively.

• Able to give clear directions and work in a team environment.
