This Position will support the F35 Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) Program. The successful candidate will serve as an ALIS Mission Planning Administrator responsible for supporting the customer in performing F-35 Mission planning and debriefing. You will be a be working closely with USMC administrator, pilots and ALIMS to ensure that the Mission Planning System is upgraded and maintained.

This is an expat position located at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, in Yamaguchi Prefecture Japan. Iwakuni is conveniently located about 20 miles West of Hiroshima, Japan along the beautiful Seto inland Sea.

The assignment is a minimum of two years with the possibility of extending beyond that.

The incumbent must be a good communicator with strong leadership skills, a self-starter, have the ability to make timely decisions, and be willing to lear

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

o Expected to progress towards Subject Matter Expertise (SME) /Craftsman level capabilities and

take the lead in resolution of technical matters

o Customer contact

o Interface with LM technical support

o Interacting daily with users and acting as a SME for the F-35 Offboard Mission Systems product suite

o Backups, restores, and disaster recovery of systems/databases/network equipment

o System/software/firewall/account maintenance and monitoring

o Installing approved system wide software, allocating mass storage space and

o Maintaining smooth, secure operation of ALIS/ODIN through coordination with peers, Tier 2 NASC and Engineers

o Reviewing processes/procedures, collect system operational data for engineering analysis

This is an operational support role to an operational customer so the selected candidate may be required to work at deployed CONUS/OCONUS locations, support rotating shifts, and work over 40 hours per week—which may include weekends—as dictated by mission requirements.

Must have a valid US Passport.

A level 3 employee Typically has 5 - 10 years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:

•The candidate must hold either a Secret security clearance with investigation within the last 6 years (or be enrolled in the Continuous Verification Program)

•The candidate must hold a current DoD IAT Level II certification (Security+, CySA+, or CCNA)

•The Candidate must have hands on experience administering IT Networks

•The Candidate must have strong oral and written communication skills

•The Candidate must have proven IT Database Administration experience

Desired Skills:

•Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.

•For this position, its highly recommended that the candidate have experience working as an F-35 Autonomous Logistics Information System (ALIS) Administrator

•Familiarity and experience working with USMC customers

•Prior experience working with pilots supporting F-35 ALIS Mission planning and Debrief.

•Knowledge of JMPS, Link-16, Mission Planning and Debrief, and/or COMSEC.

•A background working on a Fighter Program with familiarity of Mission Planning and Operations.

• Excellent communication skills and an outgoing personality is a plus to be successful in this role

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
