Position Description

  • Machine Operator is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and operating various warehouse and production equipment. Also responsible for cleaning and quality checking machinery to ensure everything is working properly. Initiative and ownership for Safety, Quality, Equipment and Productivity of the equipment and process they operate as part of a Team.

Essential Job Functions

  • Set-up and operate various machines and equipment to weld, cut, bend, shape, shear, punch, drill, wrap, pack and/or test raw materials, parts, components and/or assemblies.

  • Identify, report, and stop any Safety, Quality or risks to people, product or the business

  • Identify correct Parts, Locate parts necessary for assembly

  • Accurately Assemble product in an efficient manner

  • Follow Prescribe Methods and Procedures

  • Complete Tasks in the time allotted

  • Use necessary tools and equipment to assemble products

  • Pneumatic, Electric and Hand tools may be required

  • Operate pneumatic / Electric hand tools

  • Maintain accurate inventory of parts local to specific work area

  • Follow and adhere to all safety, quality and Trane Technologies policies and procedures.

  • Perform other duties as assigned or required including;

  • Actively contributing to Safety, Quality and Productivity activities and improvements

  • Maintaining the work area for cleanliness, Orderliness and efficiency Standards

  • Rotate job duties, areas and Stations as needed for Safety, Quality and Productivity.

  • Enter Data in computer systems, fill in forms, charts etc.

  • Comfortable to work independently and as a Team member to identify, improve, troubleshoot and take ownership for results of the machine or process the operator is responsible.

Education, Experience & Skills

  • High school diploma or General Equivalent Degree (GED) required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Ability to read Work Instructions and follow prescribed operating procedures

  • Ability to understand drawings is desirable but not required

  • Ability to use a computer / key board to enter data, machine status, quality issues and other entries

  • Ability to communicate effectively through oral and written communications.

  • Ability to analyze and solve problems.

  • Ability to work with others collaboratively.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of internal company and external associates, both written and orally, including the telephone. Mobility within the work facility.

  • Ability to bend, lift, reach and turn throughout the shift

  • Ability to stand / walk 8 – 10 +Hours

  • 1 st Shift will / Can Start from 06:00 AM to 7:00 AM ( We will fix the Shift Times By Oct)

  • 2 nd Shift will start between 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM ( We will fix the Shift Times By Oct)

  • Ability to lift 40+Lbs repeatably through the shift

  • Breaks are Formalized, Scheduled and regulated due to the interconnectivity of the assembly line

  • This will be a Tobacco Free Facility (No Smoking, No Chewing tobacco, No Smokeless pouches, No Vaping on Site)

  • This is a Drug Free Facility
