Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Responsible for execution of laboratory and field validation testing, inspection and data acquisition for use in the design and validation of products and services

• Responsible for design and construction of test facilities, test rigs, instrumentation systems and the development of test software

• Developing in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy.

• In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to validation efforts.

• Operation of all instrumentation and data systems required to conduct gas turbine engineering development tests. This requires the knowledge and applicable experience with instrumentation used in the measurement of temperature, pressure, dynamic pressure, strain, and other related parameters associated with gas turbine development tests.

• Uses some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance. Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks. Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.

• A job at this level is likely to be an individual contributor with proven interpersonal skills an provides informal guidance to new team members.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (STEM discipline preferred) from an accredited university or college or equivalent knowledge and experience.

• Advanced instrumentation experience

• Ability to travel internationally and domestic, estimated 35% annually.

For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $85,600.00 - 142,600.00 USD Annual.

The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 10% performance bonus.

*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
