Aerotek F16 APG Mechanic in Greenville, South Carolina

Aerotek Aviation is looking to hire APG mechanics at a military friendly hangar in Greenville, South Carolina.

Job Description:

· Performs a variety of mechanical duties involving diagnosis of malfunctions and required maintenance, disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, re-assembly or adjustment of various aircraft systems in accordance with technical specifications, engineering instructions, and FAA regulations.

· Perform/assist with all launch, recovery, preflight/thru flight/Basic Post Flight inspections, ground handling, maintenance, engine runs, operational checkouts, and servicing.

· Perform routine troubleshooting, installation, repair, and maintenance of all electro-mechanical and hydraulic systems and components on the aircraft.

· Responsible for the acceptableness of all electrical, hydraulic-pneumatic, propulsion, landing gear, flight control surfaces, periodic inspections, general airframe condition, aircraft furnishings, and crew escape system of the aircraft.

· Will be required to remove panels and associated hardware to obtain access equipment requiring repair.

Responsibilities:

· F-16 Production Flightline Mechanic- System Testing, Test runs, Troubleshooting, Launch and Recovery. Towing and Marshalling aircraft for flight. Heavy F-16 or related fighter flightline experience is required.

Pay:

· $35/hour - $38/hour

Shift:

· Must be able to work 1st or 2nd Shift (Monday-Thursday)

· 1 st Shift: Monday – Thursday: 6:00am – 4:30pm

· 2 nd Shift: Monday – Thursday: 4:30pm – 3:00am

Placement

Options:

· Contract to Hire (6 months)
