Description We are in the process of recruiting an Accounts Receivable Specialist to be a part of our team in the construction and contracting industry. This position is based in Greenville, South Carolina. The role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinating with the sales and operations team to address any collection difficulties or inconsistencies.

• Ensuring the accuracy of account activities for an assigned group of customers.

• Overseeing the billing process and ensuring it progresses smoothly.

• Reconciliation of customer accounts on a regular basis.

• Handling credit card payments processing efficiently.

• Generation of customer statements as part of the collection of customer accounts.

• Creation of refund packets as and when necessary.

• Participating actively in regional Accounts Receivable meetings.

• Reviewing contracts to understand the timing of revenue.

• Performing other assigned tasks related to accounts receivable. Requirements • Entry-level position; no minimum years of experience required

• Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems

• Knowledge of ADP - Financial Services

• Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools

• Proficiency in using Epic Software

• Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems

• Ability to perform basic accounting functions

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) processes

• Familiarity with billing functions

• Experience in handling cash activity and cash handling
