POSITION SUMMARY The Service Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and installing Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) and related equipment in a timely high-quality manner.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS STATEMENT(S)
- Performs routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure the operate properly.
- Inspects and troubleshoots problems with existing HVAC units.
- Provides customer with information related to proper operation of system.
- Provides customer with information as it pertains to the job.
- Maintain company vehicle according to company policies.
- Ensures all required paperwork is in order.
- Makes appropriate recommendations to customers on equipment upgrades and repairs.
- Maintains inventory of replacement parts and orders replacements.
- Complies with company and industry safety standards.
- Performs other related duties as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS and ABILITIES
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment
- Ability to use power tools, hand tools, and troubleshooting equipment
- Ability to read operation and repair manuals for HVAC systems
- Ability to follow instructions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
EDUCATION AND EXPEIRENCE
- Vocational/technical school training or apprenticeship required.
- Two years related experience required
