What you will do

We are hiring a Campaign Lead within Volvo Group North America’s (VGNA) Uptime and Customer Support organization. This role will be responsible to use external campaigns to create uptime and business value for our customers, while balancing with Company performance. This position will closely monitor all field quality issues and all potential safety/regulatory issues assuring quick decisions take place.

Your responsibilities in this role will include (but not limited to):

  • Monitor service market product quality issues and potential safety and regulatory related cases for campaign activity from emerging issue to campaign or recall decision.

  • Manage the delivery of service campaigns from campaign decision to completion

  • Manage the launching of product safety and regulatory field campaigns from recall decision to completion

  • Manage the funding request, assuring robust financial cases are submitted

  • Develop / deliver the campaign knowledge center from campaign status reporting to campaign process improvement

  • Work with the Finance team delivering campaign budget forecasting, follow-up and reporting

  • Support other Quality Warranty Team projects as needed

Education/Experience:

  • You hold a BS/BA Degree in Engineering (other degree plus experience may be considered)

  • You can communicate to all types of receivers (customers, technicians, engineers, field staff (customers, technicians, engineers, field staff team members and management)

  • You have 5 years relevant experience in the truck OEM industry and automotive is preferred.

You will also have experience with the following to be the best candidate:

  • You hold an MBA or experience with business financial position

  • Dealer/Fleet/OE Service Department experience

  • Understanding of reliability and statistical concepts (ex.: failure rate, predictive modeling, and statistics

  • Knowledge of VTNA/Mack products and procedures, warranty experience a plus.

  • Experience using relational databases for analytical reporting necessary.

  • Experience using Development and AM Systems preferred. (i.g., Kola, SEWS, VDA, VDA+).
