Description:

  • Provide clinical leadership to include day-to-day clinical service delivery, coordination of staffing, program quality development and monitoring, input on the performance reviews, and clinical program development within Occupational Therapy

  • Evaluates and treats patients referred by a licensed physician in accordance with the Practice Act for the State of Georgia, and the Guidelines for Professional Conduct of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).

  • Actively supervises and participates in the care of patients treated by Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA’s).

Position Requirements :

Licensure/Certification/Registration : Must be duly licensed by the Georgia State Board of Occupational Therapy

Education: Must be a graduate of an AOTA or other accredited school of Occupational Therapy. Occupational Therapists may have Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degrees

Experience: At least two years of clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist

Special Qualifications: Must have a working knowledge of the principles and practices of Occupational Therapy, including evaluation, treatment planning, treatment applications, and all manner of ADL training, sensorimotor activities, and restoration of UE functions
