Client: NASA GSFC - Goddard Space Flight Center Job Description: We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an entry-level X-ray Mirror Grinding and Polishing Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the precision grinding and polishing of X-ray mirrors to exact specifications. No advanced education or prior experience is required – we are looking for candidates with a strong aptitude for hands-on work, the ability to follow instructions and training, and a diligent work ethic. Responsibilities: • Assist with the grinding and polishing of X-ray mirrors using specialized equipment and techniques. • Follow established procedures and guidelines to ensure the quality and accuracy of the finished products. • Work closely with senior technicians and supervisors to learn and improve techniques. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment. • Adhere to safety protocols at all times.
