Position Summary: Sales Intern

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Intern to join our dynamic sales team at Stanley Martin Homes. This internship offers hands-on experience in sales in a new home construction community, allowing you to develop your skills in a professional setting. You will assist with various sales activities, from lead generation to closing deals, while gaining insights into sales strategies and customer relationship management.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Assist in the meeting and greeting of customers in a professional manner while consulting with them to determine their needs and requirements in a new home and community.

  • Assist in providing customer service to all prospective homebuyers about Stanley Martin Homes and communities.

  • Assist in coordinating opening and closing of sales office and/or model homes as needed

  • Assist ANSM and NSMS in market research.

  • Follow up with stalled leads and prospects to set appointments for the Neighborhood Sales Manager.

  • Complete all other duties as assigned by the manager.

  • Represent the company professionally in all interactions with customers and home buyers.

  • Adhere to and promote Mission, Vision, and Values of Stanley Martin Homes.

  • Be available to support with special events as needed.

Position Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.

  • Strong interest in sales and a desire to build a career in this field.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
