ASRC Federal AFSS is a premier provider of systems engineering, software engineering, system integration and project management services for real-time, mission-critical defense systems. We are seeking an Earned Value Management (EVM) Analyst to support a project in Greenbelt, MD.

Job Description:

• Individual will provide full-time Earned Value Management support a project at Goddard Space Flight Center's (GSFC) and operate Deltek Cobra and Encore Analytics Empower software for the projects. The project has the requirement of using Earned Value Management as a project management technique. Must be able to follow NASA and GSFC EVM documentation.

Responsibilities :

• Produce procedures and work instruction that correctly incorporate and comply with EVM concepts and guidelines.

• Effectively communicate EVM principles through the development or establishment of an EVM system or process within the projects. Communicate EVM tool and principles through the development or establishment of an EVM system for the project.

• Demonstrate superior competencies in all EVM practitioner activities. Proficient in the application of advanced EVM techniques and management disciplines for such tools as Deltek Cobra, Empower, interfaces to SAP or equivalent accounting tools; and have experience with Microsoft Office Tools including Microsoft Project or equivalent business applications.

• Posess a professional demeanor with effective communications and analytical skills.

• Experience in the presentation of Earned Value Management reporting to all levels of a project team including senior management.

• Position will interface with multiple GSFC instrument projects and contractors to ensure EVM system analysis reports are accurate and their processes are integrated. Demonstrates superior competencies in all EVM integration activities and contributes to internal project goals. Ability to evaluate Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBR) artifacts and follow procedures to support these activities based on requirements.

• Position may require travel associated with representing the project at contractor monthly status reviews, EVM meetings and conferences, and facilitating or coordinating IBR.

Requirements :

• Proficient in Deltek Cobra.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent.

• Proficient with Earned Value Management analysis tools.

• A strong willingness to be part of a project team is essential.

• Ability to work independently while meeting critical deadlines is expected. High level of accuracy is vital for this position.

• The ability to interface successfully with both business personnel and technical leads.

• Excellent interpersonal, teaming, and communication skills.

• Individual must meet government NAC and citizenship/permanent residency requirements for access to NASA GSFC. Extensive background investigation will be performed as a requirement of the job.

Education and Experience:

• PMI's PMP certification or an Earned Value Professional certification is a plus.

• Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and four or more years of related experience.

• Requires two or more years of Deltek Cobra experience is a plus.
