JOB REQUIREMENTS: Location: Green Bay, WI Shift: 1st Shift Work model: Hybrid Schedule: FULLTIME; Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Job overview: Schneider is seeking a Purchasing Assistant in Green Bay to support the Schneider shop network and be responsible for vendor relationships. This Purchasing Assistant will be accountable for working with parts orders to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Responsibilities: Monitor daily orders to ensure successful receipt and processing by vendors. Reviews and processes invoices that are rejected and determines appropriate course of action to ensure invoices can be paid timely. Monitor backorder reports and assist in identifying alternate sources for out of stock parts. Keep pricing and part number information accurate in the system by processing price adjustments and vendor part number changes. Skills and qualifications: High School/GED or equivalent work experience. One plus years of relevant experience. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products. Ability and desire to work on-site, in person, at a Schneider facility as part of a team. Pay and benefits: Medical, dental and vision insurance.
