As an Operations Technician in Descendants, you will be responsible for facilitating the closure and distribution of deceased customers\' accounts in collaboration with bankers, customers, and attorneys. Your primary duties will include freezing accounts upon notification of death, verifying documentation completeness, managing IRA documentation for beneficiaries, and overseeing all accounts linked to the deceased\'s social security number until closure or re-titling. Additionally, you will handle tasks such as managing social security returns, canceling automatic payments, and providing attorney letters with account information. This person will: Freeze accounts and notify relevant parties upon notification of customer death. Verify completeness and accuracy of documentation required for account closure. Manage IRA documentation for beneficiaries and ensure proper distribution. Oversee all accounts linked to the deceased\'s social security number until closure or re-titling. Handle tasks such as managing social security returns and canceling automatic payments. Provide attorney letters with detailed account information as needed. Collaborate effectively with bankers, customers, and attorneys via phone, email, and written correspondence. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.
