JOB REQUIREMENTS: JOB ID: 20553 WORKING TITLE: Charles Schwab Center for Financial Wellness Manager UW SYSTEM OFFICIAL TITLE: Outreach Program Manager POSTING DATE: February 15, 2024 ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: This position reports to the Accounting and Finance Department Chair and provides guidance for program planning, implementation, and evaluation, and/or supervises outreach staff. Monitors budget and appropriate funding for programming. Promotes stable and productive relationships between the university and community. Strives to expand and ensure access to programs, facilities, and educational services to diverse audiences. In addition, this position will be expected to carry out the duties of a lecturer in the Department of Accounting & Finance including teaching including six (6) student credit hours per year. This position includes the following responsibilities: Direct long-range and short-term strategic planning and initiatives to expand financial planning and literacy outreach programing. Identify emerging opportunities to expand the impact of the Center\'s outreach programing. Develop financial planning and literacy programing for K12 educational providers and youth-focused organizations. Coordinate with Continuing Education to ensure the delivery of high-quality CFP non-credit programing. Support the Cofrin School of Business Career Advisor in the development and expansion of internship and post-graduation employment opportunities aligned with the Center\'s mission. Maintain Center accessibility for internal and external stakeholders. Ensure Center technology and infrastructure is available and functional for user groups. Create and sustain a welcoming and inclusive environment for learners inside and outside of scheduled courses. Develop and execute high impact experiences and opportunities in financial planning and literacy for learners. Exercises supervisory authority for Center student employees and volunteers. Assist with developing and monitoring the budget Contribute to curricular instruction for the Department of Accounting & Finance in qualified areas.
