This position is an add to our staff as we strive to better serve our residents and campus initiatives with an eye on quality in a flexible and stable work environment. We are searching for a full-time skilled Lead Maintenance Technician to complete our team. We offer full benefits and a competitive salary .
You would be responsible for assisting our Director of Maintenance & Plant Operations in all campus initiatives, including preventative maintenance, scheduled tasks for HVAC equipment, plumbing, electrical and security systems, renovation and remodel of tenant and resident apartments, troubleshooting issues as they arise, as well as the maintenance of the building interior/exterior structure and grounds duties. This position offers a variety of work tasks and a great deal of autonomy. Most importantly, our employees interact with our residents in a warm and inviting setting, emphasizing the familiarity between staff and residents as we serve them within their home.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in facility management or similar field, or equivalent experience a plus. A minimum of three years’ experience in maintenance required. Supervisory experience is a plus. Formal training and a strong understanding of the technical features of HVAC, plumbing, carpentry and electrical systems is required as well as basic computer skills and the ability to fulfill “on call” duties within 30 minutes are required, as is a valid Wisconsin Driver’s License. Previous experience in the healthcare industry strongly preferred.
